The 90-minute theatrical premiere of “Hide + Seek: Italy” will screen across more than 160 theatres at Regal, Picturehouse, Cineworld and Landmark locations on December 5; select theatres will feature exclusive pre-show trivia; tickets go on sale November 5
NEW YORK (Thursday, November 5) – Nebula, the largest creator-owned and operated independent media company, today announced that its hit original series Jet Lag: The Game will return to theatres for a special theatrical premiere of its 20th season, Hide + Seek: Italy, on December 5. In partnership with Regal, Picturehouse, Cineworld and Landmark Cinemas across the U.S., U.K., and Canada, the 90-minute theatrical presentation will screen across more than 160 theatre screens in three countries, giving fans an opportunity to experience the series together on the big screen. Select theatres will also feature an on-screen trivia experience ahead of the special presentation, bringing an additional interactive element to the theatrical event. Tickets go on sale Thursday, November 5.
“The magic of Jet Lag is the community, so it’s a real joy to work with our friends at Picturehouse, Regal, Cineworld, and Landmark to bring that community together in the real world,” said Dave Wiskus, Founder of Nebula.
“Our first Jet Lag: The Game theatrical event demonstrated the potential of bringing an established digital audience into the movie theatre. Nebula has built one of the most engaged fanbases in the creator space, and that enthusiasm translated directly into theatrical demand. Hide + Seek Italy builds on that momentum, and we look forward to welcoming fans back to experience the series together on the big screen,” said Brooks LeBoeuf, Senior Vice President of U.S. Content at Regal.
In Hide + Seek: Italy, the 20th season of Jet Lag: The Game, the boys face off in a six-day game of Hide + Seek across Italy, exploring its scenic seaside towns, medieval mountain villages and rolling Roman hills. But this season is no vacation: the classic Hide + Seek format has been elevated to “Expert Mode,” removing the game’s most powerful questions and introducing new mechanics designed to punish seekers for making mistakes. In the season premiere, Ben and Adam grapple with the new Expert Mode questions as Sam relaxes on the beach.
The upcoming event builds on the growing success of Jet Lag: The Game’s theatrical presence. In August 2026, the series brought its Japanorama season premiere to Picturehouse Cinemas in London for a special theatrical event, followed by an international rollout of the Season 19 finale across Regal, Picturehouse and Cineworld locations in October. The response to these events demonstrated the enthusiasm of the series’ passionate fan community and the appeal of experiencing the competition together in theatres. The Season 20 event marks the largest international theatrical footprint for the series to date.
