Following the success of August’s Picturehouse premiere in London, the Season 19 finale of Nebula’s hit series will screen at Regal, Picturehouse and Cineworld locations across the U.S. and U.K. on October 3; tickets go on sale September 8
NEW YORK (Thursday, September 3) – Nebula, the largest creator-owned and operated independent media company, today announced an expanded partnership with Regal Global Entertainment to bring its hit original series Jet Lag: The Game to theaters for a special big-screen event on October 3. Following the success of the series’ Season 19 premiere event at Picturehouse Cinemas in London in August, the upcoming finale will screen at select Regal, Picturehouse and Cineworld locations across the U.S. and U.K., giving fans the opportunity to experience the series together in theaters. The theatrical event marks a new chapter in Nebula’s growing relationship with Regal Global Entertainment, building on its established partnership with Regal-owned Picturehouse Cinemas.
“One of the most exciting parts of what we do at Regal is seeing where passionate audiences lead us, and the incredible response to Jet Lag at Picturehouse earlier this year quickly caught our attention,” said Jack Grimes, Senior Director, Alternative Business Development at Regal. “Jet Lag has turned a completely original idea into a series with an incredibly passionate community behind it, and we’re thrilled to partner with Nebula to bring its finale to the big screen.”
“After the success of the premiere event for Jet Lag: The Game – Japanorama in August, we’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Nebula and welcome audiences to experience this epic season finale on the big screen in October,” said Sam Clements, Director of Marketing at Picturehouse Cinemas.
“Jet Lag is an inherently social show. Having spent time with fans in theaters, there really is something magical about bringing that community together. Unbelievable that we get to spread this experience to so many theaters in so many cities,” said Dave Wiskus, Founder of Nebula.
The partnership also extends beyond Jet Lag. As part of Nebula’s growing relationship with Regal, Regal is supporting an Oscar-qualifying theatrical run for Power Trip, a 26-minute short film from creator and director Patrick H. Willems. The film will screen at Regal Essex Crossing in New York from September 24-30, followed by a wider rollout at Regal locations nationwide. Select talent will participate in live Q&As following each 7:00 PM ET screening.
Power Trip follows a rideshare driver who ends up in a tense situation when a conversation with a passenger doesn’t go well. Written by Matthew Kelly (Nando v Movies) and directed by Willems (Night of the Coconut), the film is produced by Academy Award winner Dan Jinks (American Beauty) and Wiskus, and stars Amir Arison (The Blacklist) and Tony Award nominee Julia Knitel (Dead Outlaw). The film celebrated its world premiere at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood as part of the 2026 HollyShorts Film Festival.
The scale of the theatrical partnership marks a notable step for Nebula as it continues to expand the reach of creator-driven work beyond digital platforms. While Jet Lag demonstrates the power of a passionate online community to translate into a theatrical audience, Power Trip represents an ambitious theatrical path for a short film, with Regal providing a dedicated weeklong run as part of its Oscar-qualifying campaign.
